Kampung Pulo Citizens Need Cleaning Tools

On Sunday (12/28), Kampung Pulo citizens began to clean up their environment after two days inundated by 5 meters flood. Citizens hoped there is cleaning tools donation from the donors or agencies.

Their existing tools gone due to flood

Head of RT 10/02 Kampung Pulo, Husef Sunandar said the residents need some cleaning tools, such as brooms, mops, rubber plunger rod and floor cleaning fluid. To clean up the 50 centimeters of remaining sludge, citizens using pickup tools.

"Their existing tools gone due to flood," said Sunandar, Sunday (12/28).

Djarot Assured the Flood Victims' Aid Distribution

Sunandar continued, at least 80 households (KK) whose houses were flooded since Friday (12/26) ago. When flooding, they preferred to refuge around the location which is not flooded.

Contacted separately, East Jakarta Health Department Head, Apul Silalahi admitted that he has received the report related to the needs of cleaning tools for Kampung Pulo residents.

"I am going to coordinate with the urban village and sub-district heads to provide the necessary infrastructure and facilities that become residents' need," said Silalahi.

In addition, added Silalahi, his side will hold a community work to clean up the mud and trash in Kampung Pulo involving Fire and Disaster Department, Satpol PP, Army, and Police.
